We been a movie this is what it's about

Whale Rider is a 2002 New Zealand-German family drama film written and directed by Niki Caro. Based on the 1997 novel of the same name by Witi Ihimaera, the film stars Keisha Castle-Hughes as Kahu Paikea Apirana, a twelve-year-old Māori girl whose ambition is to become the chief of the tribe. It was directed by Niki Caro and the writer is Witi Ihimaera he has written around about 50 books.

On Tuesday 30th June next week at lunch time, The Yr 7-9 from MT will be having a Wānanga lunch for a Matariki celebration. Please bring a plate of food to share with everyone in the class.

After period 4 came to M1 to share your food with the whole Wānanga class. 

Some people have allergies such as tomatoes and nuts. So make sure to be careful about what you eat, If you have ANY allergies. But other than that bring whatever you want to share with the class.
