Kate Sheppard
Hello my name is Ebony and this is my informational speech about Kate Sheppard. Kate Sheppard is famous for being a leader for all women. The first time that try to make a difference in women's rights she did not succeed but she did it again and she traveled around the world to get people to stand by and when she got in her 40s she succeeded in get in woman to vote .If it wasn't for her, women nowadays probably would not be able to vote. Kate did a lot of things in her lifetime not only to make women able to vote but she all so traveled the country, writing to newspapers, holding public meetings and lobbying members of Parliament. I picked Kate Sheppard because of all of her great work with women's rights. In 2015 there was a punk-rock musical called That bloody women made about Kate Sheppard life journey.
