What is Inferring?

Hi, welcome to my blog. Today I'm going to talk about what Inferring means.

Inferring is when, you find two bits of information and put them together to make one bit of info. Deduce or conclude something from evidence and reasoning rather than from explicit statements.

Here is my example of inferring in my own words:
So lets just say that a person called Emily, was going Skydiving, and that she was nervous but excited.

Why was she nervous? Is it because she was skydiving for the first time in her life. How I figured this out is because I looked at the first bit of info, that said that the girl Emily was going sky diving, and then it told me that she was nervous, so I thought that it might have been her first time sky diving.
